The question is: why is it any of your business?

Because it's funny and most people are curious by nature ^^

Ok, just don't mind me asking some questions:

- If you guys are so cool, all about fun, with good community and internal relations etc, how come a whole corp gets kicked out of the alliance instead of directorship simply sorting out the incident the day after and kicking the guy out (which, coming from you who claim to laugh at kb stats would still be a fairly funny thing to do, but kind of more logical).

- Guy was inside corp for just 7 days, but that's already enough to start 'thinking' about kicking him out since he's not contributing? Damn, you are true leet pvpers.

- I din't take down 10+ bil ships, but I got a 7 bil one of yours (among others). Does that count?

- is it only important that a 'bad' killmail is not traceable to code for a random outsider, since I don't remember you kicking out some other folks who had worse and lazier losses than this one (namely - oprah winfrey getting podded in kamio while being afk in a ship named after the char), or your illustrious executor, losing his provi and the pod (again, afk)? Let's not forget about Daxter either, logging off in front of my svipul with combat probes out, losing his 2 bil pod

- Why did Globby bother with that failed DC story on reddit?

All in all, an Orca lost should be irrelevant for a bunch of fun-loving, isk-showering, no s***s given guys who are only trying to do good thing and fight the afk disease while preaching their code.
However, all of the above provides enough material for anyone with some common sense to doubt your whole narrative and everything you ever post related to it since it certainly does appear that a) loyal rage-kicked that corp, and b) you guys don't believe in stuff you rub into others faces all the time.

I kind of picked some of that up myself. How many people in CODE. are presently and "secretly" having someone over them thinking they are not up to standards and are going to be kicked for one mistake or loss?

For an organization that pretends to not care about anything and be all about wrecking stuff, they certainly are a little uptight. I would be concerned if I were in CODE. Getting kicked from CODE. is like being fired from an unpaid internship. But evidently there is some element afoot taking this stuff very seriously to the point that their own members don't matter when appearance (as it appears) turns out to be everything.

But it's also of no surprise. The most damaging means of hurting CODE. is not even argued about, They won't even give it the attention of a red herring. When dealing with PR and propaganda specialists you can tell what the real issue is by that which is never truly argued about, and when brought of a flurry of derailments follow. And that they started putting delays in their Twitch streams is also telling. CODE. is not invincible. I have seen them fail many times, but they being propaganda specialists make it seem like everything goes well for them. I see the same elements in RL, where important topics never get covered but mundane things get signal boosted. Look at what happens "in the background" around the world while everybody is freaking out over a lion for example.

Despite any internal strife that they may be suffering, CODE. are at good at PR and continue to pump out propaganda and advertising.

Every time someone whines about them, they gain visibility. They win.

Want to hurt the CODE. PR machine? Stop giving them free PR and propaganda.

The fact that you CODE. guys started straight off lying about what happens is whats entertaining, the loss doesn't matter as much as the lengths you guys went through and are going through to defend your actions and the lies you are spilling, like globby did right away on the reddit post, it makes you look butt hurt as ****. Its hilarious. I've gotten a good giggle out of it.

I agree, it's amusing as hell.

I kind of want to see it turn into a fail cascade, for the entertainment value.

Unlikely to happen though, as dramas go this is fairly small fry.

I can't remember seeing GF but I did see this from

Honestly, they are good at PR as long as you take what they say at face value, but in that case you probably don't really care for truth at all.
No one of non-code folks in this thread are whining, we're merely laughing about all the failed attempts to cover up an extreme reaction by their executor to an incident which would be laughed at in any serious organisation based on their (supposed) narrative and/ principles.

Showing all the hypocrisy and gap between what they claim and what they do is just an added bonus.

As to why the Okra pilot in question has been kicked from the corp, its simple. He pulled off the kind of stupid that doesn't make you laugh.

As for my corp and its relationship with CODE., its simply a matter of time and game mechanics Lol

But please, continue milking this long dead cow, I'm getting a laugh out of it.

I disagree, the PR works on two different levels.

The first is ridiculing those who think that they can go afk in a PvP game and/or flatly refuse to use the available mechanics to their advantage.

Despite the RP and overblown yet amusing blog posts, that appeals to those of us that know this to have an element of truth, some of us have been the element of truth in the past. In this case there is no smoke without fire.

We know it's propaganda and what makes it amusing is the second level that it works on; it riles up those that feel there should be justice in a virtual world, it recruits from both sides of the table.

Those that strongly feel making poor choices in a PvP game, especially one that is infamous for allowing crime, should be punished with antimatter join CODE. and their allies.

Those that strongly feel making poor choices in the same PvP game as above should be consequence free, they join anti ganking.

I never said anybody in particular was whining, nor have I claimed anyone in particular is lying.Twisted

Honestly, most of the alliances I've been in would kick a pvp player for a stupid loss.

It's not unusual as everyone is making it out to be. If anything, it's normal.

My personal perspective is that alliances that act like this are raining on the giggle parade. I don't like that... I like the giggle parade.

I've been kicked out of alliances before too.

As far as the drama coming out of this... I'm not even detecting the humor you guys keep referencing. I usually play and forum with a **** eating grin... But I'm danger close to a bored look.

This content is getting overplayed.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.
