Callibration WTF?

First, I admit I haven't played in awhile, but what is anybody thinking having T2 rigs with a 300 calibration cost and T2 ships with a 400 calibration allowance?

Any T2 Frigate should be able to fit any two T2 rigs.

And what is anybody thinking having a T3 ship with three rig slots and only 400 calibration allowance?

None of that makes sense.

A T1 ship shouldn't be able to fit a T2 rig DUE TO calibration and likewise a T2 ship with a T3 rig, but any T2 ship should be able to fit as many T2 rigs (or T1) as it has slots, without a calibration issue and likewise T3 ships and T3 rigs, most certainly a T3 ship should be able to fit as many T2 rigs as it has rig slots without ANY calibration issue.

ummm, nope

t2 ships get big bonuses over t1, as such lose some of the flexibility that t1 ships have with rigs. Also some rigs give very big bonuses, as such they require a lot of calibration.

Dunno what to say about t3s and rigs.

Not every rig is as powerful as another, why do you think we even have calibration? To annoy you or to create game balance?

so according to your logic T1 ships shouldnt have enough pwg/cpu to fit T2 modules

Makes perfect sense if you stop relating T2 modules and rigs to T2 ships.

Say 2 T1 rigs offer 10% bonuses, after stacking it's ~ 18%
A T2 rig offers 15% and a free slot.

Also not all T2 rigs use 300 calibration.

Oh I remember those. With the rigs came the big powergrid nerf to all ships, so we would use them and the first iteration had one size.

It is true that some of rigs callibration cost is obviously unbalanced.

Trolling or don't understand how balance works?

My simple rule....if you are looking at a fit and going if I had just one more thing (in this case another t2 rig) I'd be uber....that wall you are hitting is intentional and working as intended. CCP has magic numbers I believe. these magic numbers are the max they liked to see for some stat/feature on the ship.

I hit these walls many times. I however will man up and say I am looking to bend fitting rules as much as I can to give me as many edges as I can get my hands on. I am looking to break the game in my favor. Its good the game doesn't allow this. I make no claims to be an eft master. Others who are....the crap they would do with your setup is what you need to worry about tbh.

And why should not t1 fit t2 rigs. PLayer is opting to to run rigs several times the cost of the ship. Rigs unlike shiny mods you don't get back so that ship once t2 rigged stays that will till blown up or rigs ripped out. CBA to e-stalk your kills.....is this butthurt over a t2 rigged t1 ship owning you? Your blind faith that a t2 ship has to be better than t1 probably got you killed here if that is the case.
