Why 7th low?

better give it 7th high as an utility slot. It's so damn stupid that if you fit DCU you have to lose a gun and then you have an empty hardpoint for it on the model. Plain wrong design wise.

No, the “drake lvl tank” is, just as with the drake, a shield tank, with the same issues and benefits the Drake has. Incidentally, this leaves a fair amount of lowslots to bring up the usefulness of those unbonused guns without sacrificing tanking for it.

If you go completely nuts and go for an all-out passive shield tank, the Myrm can even outtank the classic PST Drake, but then we're back into niche (or just L3/L4 mission) territory again.
