The people of the Empire are so bizarre, though... Even immortal they'd be humble and modest until the end of the universe... What a shame.

Are humility and modesty such bad things? They seem like good ways to reduce conflict and distraction.

No, we were commanded to lift our heads high. The Lord tells us we are illustrious, that we shall rule the heavens, that we shall stand higher than all, that we are destined for greatness, that we are to be righteous, pure and to fear him. This is not humility and modesty.

There's a very famous Amarrian who was often praised for being humble and modest. He was Zaragram II, and we all know how that story ended.

I find the humble and modest to be the worst sorts of self glorifying idiots at core. And they always insist that we join with them in their chorus of judgements against those who have their feet planted firmly on the ground. Those who seek truth in spirit alone are damned to misery forever.

And that we have to be worth it and kneel before the divine, if I recall correctly...

And do you not think I am kneeling before God my little fish? You'll find all of those ideas in the most revered parts of our scriptures.

Kindly stop misappropriating nicknames and using them for the wrong person.

What... are you implying exactly?

Aren't you the one spending her time judging... ?

That you fly in space as gracefully as a fish swims in river?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Lighten up, love, it paints you in a positive light. Trust me.

A man suggesting to a woman that he best knows how she should react to her exploitation is ...

well. Unsurprising, I guess.

Hey! That's sexist!

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
