My suggestion is to change the left-side layout of the Industry window slightly to something like this.


NOTE: This is not a suggestion to change any ISK-cost-to-build rate, material consumption, or mechanic involved in industry.

This seems very sensible... God know i have been burned on 12.4k = 12.499 once too often and then had to double back to go get more minerals;)

While feasible with T1 items, how do you suggest this will work with T2 or T3 or similar items which have a lot more categories and components for production? My screen is not large enough to accommodate a vertical list with just one column.

Shrink or remove the icons, then any BPO/BPC material list will fit.

Can you give me an example BPO's material list that wouldn't fit?

Any T2 BPC, like Zealot or Ark. T2 BPC have 4 sections: T2 components (7 items for the Zealot, 8 items for the Ark). PI Materials (1 item), Minerals (1 item), RAM & Ships (2 items)
