Mmm, what if other races shine at every pve aspect while Amarr are so-so at everything?
Things after last patch:

Caldari - very good at PvE, almost good at PvP except Cruise missile ships. It's still good because you can change Cruse missiles with Tops. Also Hybrid boats rock at PvP.

Gallente - good at PvE and now they are good at PvP with new changes.

Minmatar - very good at PvE and very good at PvP. In my opinion Minmatar isn't OP at all. They are just very versatile.

Amarr - so-so at PvE compared to others. So-so at PvP on most of the ships because you have to mount ACs. Only a few ships are actually good with their lasers.

It's clear Amarr is the worst race now, not matter how good is Abaddon with pulses.
Abaddon is not all Amarr race.
There are only 3 ships that worth flying in PvP:
Abaddon with ACs, Zealot and Harbinger.
Other ships are not viable, at least with mounted lasers.

It's clear Caldari is the worst race now, not matter how good is Drake with heavies.
Drake is not all Caldari race.
There are only 3 ships that worth flying in PvP:
Drake, Tengu and Scorpion.
Other ships are not viable.

lets have a look at Minmatar

Sleipnir/cyclone, Hurricane, tempest, maelstrom, rupture, fleet stabber, vagabond, rifter

Well typhoon is interesting but skill point extensive

Ammar

thorax, megathrone, hyperion, dominix, brutix, myrmidon, ishtar

Flying most of the minmatar ships effectively means you really know what you do, you screw up in double click you get in wrong range you are toast.

If they make u shoot with capacitor use and with 2 kinds of dmg YES you are allowed to say that.Till then you are not :)

Btw if u want ot shot longer than 10-20 klm u have to use only Em dmg -Scorch .I want to see Caldari in this place...then complain.

Why ?
If i have a chance to not use cargo full of ammo instead just few crystals, i sure as hell would fit cap booster and fill the cargo with cap charges xD

My old corp members fly a lot on Rokh, Naga, Onyx, Manticore and Cerberus. They are all viable.
I still have Cerberus, Onyx and Rokh fitted at null.

Are you the one who whined that Naga should be a Torp boat?

Dude i`ll be glad to use 100% cargo with crystals only if i can hit with 4 kinds dmg. I`ll take that option any day :):):)

well .. sure but lets see what i use

missions against caldari, guristas, serpentis

I use my HAM tengu with terror assault missiles

mission against amar, sansha, angel cartel

i use machariel, buzz kill i use loki, soon i will leave machariel just against angel cartel need to train large laser specs
And then i would use Nightmare and legion

Why stay in one ship, when you got option to be in every. Isnt it nice when you can have more ships and game gives you reason to train for them.

I personally find my gallente carrier far better than the minmatar carrier... Also I would never trade my ishtar for any caldari or minmatar hac.

And I love getting up close and personal with my 5km optimal on blasters.

Gallente are fine with the rail&blaster buff. We do only two kinds of damage but noone care prepare for the possibile situation that he'll only encounter amarr or that they'll only encounter gallente, so they can't really tank only EM&therm or therm&kin. People omni-tank in pvp making our vessels in par with others.

For pve my hybrids suck a bit, true... But for pvp they are equal opponents.

Maybe because i don`t have you`re skill points,i play eve for almost 9 monts,and i want this game to be developed not stucked in 1 place where old players with tons and tons of SP to be happy playing it :)

I`m not old player but still i want to play and joy eve like others.Its not that much to ask don`t you think :):):)

Every bc is used in pvp.
Every HAC is used in pvp.
And so on.

You missed a lot of other minnie ships and added a lot of useless to Amarr.

Not flaming you or trolling, but please, fly more in null solo/small fleet and alliance wars.
I did all of them and know for sure what is used and what is not.
Why didn't you mention that Amarr ships usually used with ACs? Do you really fly in null or do any kind of pvp at all?

did that and you are wrong.

And simple fact that minmatar ships are "used" more is not an valid argument for usefulness of laser platforms.

Zealots are probably the most used HACs in medium to large fleets. /main reason why i trained amarr curisers V nad med laser specs.

It all works pretty well, unless you want to make Amar ships the best all around as in the old ages/ as i heard. More expensive but every laser platform will be as strong as small fleet of same hull class of other race.

Only one amarr ship i know use 1400mm "Artileries " is abaddon. Never heard of amar ship using autocannons.

I don`t know why u peeps keep selling me this Legion Zaelot crap :) ofcourse they are 2 rare ships we got with good capacitors and good ship bonuses ....we Amarians know that best i think :):):)

I fly legion dude i fly with him like a normal person who have cap stable ship with very very nice dmg even making Em and some Thermal. With my Legion i don`t have to be wory abbout what slot i should waste to make it stable and how to tank it and making good dmg in the same time,or do i have to take off my tracking computers to put cap recharges.That 2 ships are just fine :):):)

But we talk here not for Legion and Zaelot , we talk here for the Whole amarr race :) please mind that .

What makes you think each race should be on par with eachother?
Stop placing stuff in categories and number them, if the goal was to have each race and faction be equal to eachother shipwise everyone would be a gallante and we would all fire civilian weapons at eachother..

If and only if to the extreme, i could say the only balancing that needs to be done is on the technologial front and in one faction/race-wise and not between different factions and races..

Im minmatar and I use a Harby for ratting and have to fly Baddons with Lasers in fleets.

All of these used the racial weapon system

I use noobship with lasers when I kill belt rats in high sec.
Does this change laser statistics?

Danny John-Peter i see these ships u mentioned all the time.Diferents says i know what they can do u don`t.Utalking about Legion with missiles -good joke :) You also talk about Armageddon navy - do you know how hard is to fit him proper ? How many of the ships you wrote can fly and actually use them in pvp or pve ...do you even know how u have to fit them or how much time is needed to fit Armageddon navy proper? For mission dude if u fly solo like me in l4 only Apocalypse Navy have enough PG CPU and enough cap to complete the mission without warping out cause of dry capacitor. Dont comment something u don`t know how it really work :):):)

Would you like to link me your fitting problems? Cause i have no problems flying my abaddon/apoc in a random lvl4 mission (except drone missions.. they are no fun at all) and dont have to warp out off.

fitting is just 4 hardeners, 2 heatsinks, 1 repper, 3 trimarks, 3 cap rechargers, full group of pulses in high. 5 dronnies.. and capmanagement skills :-)

I dont fly cap stable ships.. But again i dont fly ships which need capacitor to project dmg.. At least not at the moment.

Each race got their playfield they excel in.. and other where they are not that cool.
