TLDR: Daily Devblogs were a good thing, bring them back!

I was really enjoying reading a devblog nearly every day (two some days) in the month leading up to the patch. It made me hopeful and optimistic that the corner had been turned and better days were comming to eve. However, since the patch, they've dried up. I suppose you could spin this as a plublicity stunt to get people in for the new patch. But, honestly, daily devblogs are a good thing, they keep US interested in the game, they tell us that you're still interested in building eve.

Obviously I can't prove it, but I believe regular devblogs increase your subscriber numbers, encourage your current subscribers to invite their friends, and generate comments like "Look how responsive our devs are! Why are you still playing that crappy MMO, which (company) is clearly just milking for money?"

Agreed very much so! Tell us what you are working on and what you plan on changing. One a day may be too much, but one a week surely isn't too much to ask.

CCP feels they have 'delivered.' We now return to our regularly scheduled laziness, neglect and contempt, already in progress.

EVE was hemorrhaging. Bitter vets yelled at CCP. They ignored us for a few months and then finally applied a tourniquet.

Now instead of going to the hospital, they're loosening the tourniquet.

Crucible is out. the next 2 months are fixing bugs until they start on the summer projects.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

I don't think we'll be seeing that flow of devblogs for a while. I think that was a result of CCP's refocusing and telling eve players 'We're sorry for Incarnia'.

Also I'd be happy with an in-depth weekly blog. This way you still get all the info, you just don't have to check every day, nor does CCP have to post every day.

Or you know.... Because theres a good 6 months before the next expansion so they dont want to give away too much too soon.

Try to be less bitter

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

They didn't copy/paste and the forum ate it. Then they were ganked repeatedly, threw their hands up and said **** it!

I'd much rather have them post devblogs only when they're reasonably sure of what they're actually going to deliver, instead of just posting devblogs just for the sake of posting devblogs. I'd actually go so far as to say that posting devblogs just to post devblogs is worse than staying silent until there's something to yap about.

Because you just know you bunch of aspies will sperg about how they didn't deliver what they initially blogged about and how disappointed you are in CCP. So just chill.

I'm sure CCP will be posting new blogs soon on all the fabulous new NeX offerings that will be featured heavily in the next release.
