@ CCP - Developer Team Fail

Who ever is calling the shots on your team needs to be fired.
The fact that you support a large array of abusive mechanics, is unbelievable.
There is a line between realism and practically in games, and you should know what it is.
If you think that making real-life in a game to a 100% accuracy is a Good idea, you definitely should be ousted out of this industry.

Lastly, If you think that you are going to keep player-base while you support massively abusive mechanics (like theft,corruption, afk cloaking, and so forth) you not only have no idea what your doing, but at in fact delusional

To see this game go from what it was to what it is, is one of the biggest jokes iv seen in this industry. You guys need to grow a set of balls and do something about this abusive atmosphere. For the love of god, grow a set and make this game a better game. Grow a set and reverse the mistake you made years ago when you chose to allow a bunch of douches run your game into the ground, Grow a set and make a change to help make this game a better game.

You and i know the game is dying, hell even the player base knows it.

A list of things you can fix to start in that direction


- Afk Cloaking (this has to be one of the most abusive mehcanics yet, and the fact that there is 150 pages complaining about should be a huge @$#@ sign to you to fix the ****).
Fix: Give cover-ops a cloak detector. Add it to the game immediately. ( mean like NOW TODAY ETC).

- Contract - Courier Abuse: The fact that someone can just accept a contract and steal Large amounts of isk by afking, is a bunch of nonsense
Fix:Return Freight transport to people if a contract fails

- Contract - Fake This or that abuse (you know, the little scams for tech 1 drones instead of tech 2 like it says)
Fix: Make it so that the contract's name can be changed, and only shows what is actually inside.

- 3rd party website / access to scam (Like the API key nonsense).
Fix: You dont allow 3rd party software in eve for addons, so dont allow people to use 3rd party software (websites etc) to abuse the player base.

In short, its clear you dont care for this game anymore, but we do so do your dam jobs and fix this **** tomorrow (not a year from now after all your bullshit false promises actually fall into place).


And if you need someone to code the crap for you because you dont know how let me know so we can get some freaking revisions to this game up in here that actually help better it.

OP clearly hasn't been keeping an eye on dev blogs and comments made by devs, where they've already made it clear that they are working to fix stuff like this.

PS, if you're actually being scammed in contracts, that's your own dumb fault, you shouldn't have to be told that. Stop being bad.

Someone either got ganked, scammed, or awoxxed.

It's amazing to see someone protest against the things that have given EVE it's flavor since day one. It's as if some people can't take responsibility for choosing to play a game that enshrines villainy...

Im a 2003 Player,

the amount of bullshit in eve now, is no where near where it use to be.
Goons brought this crap to the level it's at. And the decline of this games population
is what has caused it.

Goons Succeeded in doing exactly what they wanted to do... Killing it, and making people quit.
this game was way better off before they came along, and they may very well lead to it's downfall.

Cloaking is a non-issue, you have tools to counter that, its called leaving the system :P

Courier Contracts: non-issue, your collateral should cover the cost of whatever you want moved, so if they walk off with the goods you get that ISK, i dont see a problem here other than you sound like you made a mistake and got punished for it

Scam Contracts, take 1 second to actually READ the contract window and you'll instantly avoid all of these, reading is hard i know but its a skill you need for when you become an adult

3rd party website: you need to be more specific here, what API websites scam you? the API is read only so they can't do naything TO your account, expand on this because this "issue" makes no sense

You clearly dont know ccp and the countless lies, and false promises they have made.

While we are on this note.


A fix could be provided with a simple modification to the database values.

Current

Cloak Cost : 10 energy
Cloak recharge: 60 seconds
Regenerate energy while cloaked : 10/s

New

Cloak Cost: 85% of energy
cloak Recharge : 60 seconds
Regenerate energy while cloaked: 0/s.
Energy cost while cloaked: 10/s.


We are not even talking about coding at this point. The amount of changes to fix this problem is endless.
ITS A REALLY @$#@# EASY CHANGE. IT REQUIRES NO EFFORT. A 12 year old could code the changes.

How pitiful are you? You're a person sitting in front of a computer screen filled with so much impotent rage that the best you can do is make a post that YOU KNOW is stupid and going to get locked? When I've had trouble with goons in the game, I shot goons in the game.

Goons didn't kill anything. Now CCP watering down the game in a vain attempt to 'broaden it's appeal'... that's another story. Notice how EVE was growing before all the safeties and 'don't do that' pop ups...

So somehow CCP is bad and you are a 2003 player. The sub for EVE is $15 USD. So if you've subbed that entire time you've paid them at least 2 grand USD (more if you used plex, they get more cash from plex) to be horrible to you.

And yet it's somehow CCP that's screwed up.
