Moon Goo Reaction Question

I have been doing a lot of research looking into starting into this, and have a question for those more experienced than I that I cannot find an answer to elsewhere: Is there any reason I cannot run two complex reactions off of two simple reactions? I am speaking purely in terms of yield, not links. I know the silo only has one input and export, but in terms of yield, is there any reason I cannot take half the stacks of each simple reaction and stick them into a second array of silos to be input into a second complex reactor? According to numbers, each simple reaction outputs twice the requirement for a complex reaction.

I also am not looking for answers related to POS fittings or numbers: I am aware of what will fit and have a plan set up, I just need to know if there is any reason why my plan of moving half the stacks wouldn’t work.

Thank you in advanced.

erm.. not to rain on ur parade here, but have u found an empty moon worth mining? because all are already taken and heavily defended. So even if u find one and put up a pos do u have the support to defend it? those are important initially imo..

Thank you for your insight on the issue at hand. I am more than aware of the dangers of putting up a POS, as I have put up a number, this is just my first time with reactions. I have found a number of moons that fit my needs, my only issue is the one I asked above, if there is any reason why moving half the stacks wouldnt work.

Other than issues of:
* availability (the more desirable minerals have most of the moons already occupied),
* timing (moving stuff around at the right moments) and
* fitting (2x simple and 2x complex reactors need a grand total of 9000 tf, before even considering the silo CPU needs, and the largest CPU output tower only gives you 7500 tf, so you WILL need at least two towers, minimum)
... no, there is no additional reason why you should have problems with it.

The most common configuration involves two large Caldari towers with some extra silos "just in case", with one simple reactor and one complex reactor on each of the towers, and moving half of the output of the simple reactors from each tower to the other tower.

Thank you. I know the timing and such can be an issue but if it grosses me as much as I think it will based on calculations then the time will be worth it. The configuration you suggested was actually exactly what i had planned. I had just been wondering if there was any logistical step I was not aware of that would prevent me from doing it but it sounds like there is not.
