EVE General Discussion

Since Dust 514 and EVE are one and the same, it would be compelling and immersive if ECM worked similarly across both clients. I request that Dust 514 players be given access to ECM specializations and weapons that have a chance-based effect to completely nullify opponent players.

Upon a successful jam, the opponent's guns/abilities/tools would become unusable, and their UI would turn into a static screen such as shown here: static screen.

A suitably specialized player would be able to permanently jam three or so opponents in this manner.

This mechanic would add a huge amount of tactical depth to every engagement, just like it does in EVE!
