Many of us who work or play with Joomla have heard the promises of a "Eve API to Joomla Authorization component" in the past. Our corporation is a fledgling one and as such found ourselves in need of such a system due to our integrated approach to most of our web based utilities. Although we have searched high and low, we have not been able to fine an API Authorization component for Joomla and as such we being IT professionals with relevant skills are setting out to build one.
