Pixelated planets when in view planet mode

Has anyone else experienced this? It doesn't happen in ALL planets, but in certain ones when zooming in for PI the landscape is greatly pixelated. So far I've noticed this one of the barren planets and one of the storm planets.

It's pretty annoying, not even the super new nebulae are good enough res.


EDIT: Settings are maxed.
