Do kill rights only apply if you are podded. I only ask because I lost a hulk mining in lowsec while rolling a few but was able to save my pod. No kill rights were issued. Before all you trolls start lecturing me on my noobness yes it was my fault for not watching local...............

Kill rights apply when you unlawfully have your ship destroyed, so maybe you committed a crime against their corp or somehow got a GCC in a hulk.

Kill rights are also only issued if you don't shoot back IIRC.

your drones set to auto aggress perhaps shot at your aggressor and denied you your kill rights?
