Besides Aura, who eventually gives you some (definitely not enough) useful information about market, even couple of handy skill-books, the complete mission line is more or less off topic: mining, hacking, flying around and delivering stuff, that ain't what business tutorial is supposed to be about.
Considering the exploration tutorial, for whom kudos to the ones involved, this one disappointed..

Did this agent first as I'm building a Trade character. Stopped at part 9 I think and started the Combat tutorial.

What is the business tutorial supposed to be about, if it's not about being versatile and finding new ways to make money?

I just did the business tutorial and it is a bit all over the place. Teaches you how to transport stuff, salvage, hack, manufacture items etc etc in an effort to make money. I did learn a few things, plus made some loot , got some items I can sell, new skills plus 2 ships. Just took about half a day so I felt it was worth it.
