Has the Rorqual become mostly useless now?

Just to be clear that's 41.37% more of what an unboosted miner would obtain. This is a very misleading comparison when weighing the effect of a Rorqual vs an Orca..

A much more useful comparison is (100% + 98.92%)/(100% + 69.97%) = 100% + 17.03%

You get about 17% advantage using Rorqual boosts instead of Orca boosts.

Which is still a hell of an upgrade, but is not 41%.

just going to call it like I see it,

greyscale and ccp dropped the ball about the rorqual

she's so broken right now and close to useless that it should be high priority to resolve her role

its like they forgot she even existed.

Honestly, the Rorqual always should have been the AFK miners dream barge. The decision to make it a booster only and mildly useful on field support ship are what is wrong with it. It needs a more direct use, even if it will never be the super miner that carebear trolls once wanted it to be.

Make it the mining equivalent of a Hulk, but with range bonuses and the biggest ore hold ever seen this side of Yulai. Make them useful enough to be on field.*
