Our History

As you can see we have some history with Jennifer and her unrelenting charges. I also encourage EVERYONE to read the comments we leave on our loss mails. Everyone is entitled to talk crap to one another as long as they can take it when they bite the dust. Marmite took notice of this at the beginning of the year and had some fun on our board :) I assure you, we all read it and will respond!

Great example

Sengier you'll have to learn to accept that PoH is going to have losses every month because we enjoy the "fun fights." Sure I could take my 12 billion isk slave clone out with my 2 high-grade slaved nestors along with my booster character and fight but what fun is that? Take credit for the kill if you want, it's not like you have anything else to worry about.

I can confirm once you put the role play grr POH aside they are fun (if frustrating enemies) and I'd not want anybody else on the other side of a wardec.

PS I'm inactive in Marmite right now so if a campaign is planned hold off a couple of weeks kk?Blink

Having been a member (former) of His Highness corp - I can only state that the best thing that ever happened to me in Eve - was kicking me from PGOH (by His Highness personally).
The reason was losing a 70mil ship - and the loss was due to another guy having a poor command of English...not to mention my total lack of skills at PvP :)
Of course I was a newb then, still am today - but even newbs shouldn't be treated like ****.
The only warm memory from that time is Yumla Cos who tried to teach us newbies something...

I could quote here the mail which would make it obvious that the popular opinion regarding His Highness is entirely correct, but I won't do that (if anyone wants to have a look - convo me in Eve).

Actually I am quite grateful for the experience - if I ever have my own corp - I made a solemn promise to myself that I will NEVER behave like His Highness. Not only because it pissess people off - but because it stinks.

So much on the subject - I will be watching the developments with interest :)

This thread delivers.

+1 for introducing the world to the biggest douche most of us had never heard of.

Highsec is full of these people, tiny little dictators and their tiny little dictatorships. It is the sacred duty of us dedicated highsec jockeys to push over their sandcastles and liberate their members from tyranny.

Also getting a Sengier corpse is going to be tough, he'd have to undock for that, and since he's been sat in station in murasi since the POS takedown I don't think it's on the table right now.

I'd feel bad for him because his entire thing has fallen apart and I can imagine that it must be very lonely, but hia unrelenting rage and continued blaming of other people for things that are entirely his fault negate any sympathy I might have had. This is a bed of his own making and he made it against the advice of everyone.

Haha! Tiny little dictators and their little dictatorships. I can't stop laughing at that. Thank you for the laughs!

Have you read this thread? There is not a single person here who has tried to defend your or take your side in any way. That in itself speaks volumes. I don't even feel the need to defend myself, my corp mates or any of my friends from what you said. It's so laughably petty no one in their right minds would take it seriously.

When I was running a T1 Retriever mining ice, PGOH's Directors then, and Sengier himself, were all helpful to me, asking nothing in return -- eventually I joined the corp.

Throughout my tenure there, although at times I strongly disagreed with many of his decisions, I stayed loyal to him, as he stayed loyal to me. Perhaps this is Sengier's most endearing quality: loyalty and honor. (Praetorian Guard of HONOR).

It we me that first began the business that eventually brought PGOH it's wealth, and me that had to come up with the 16 B we spent to help defend a brand new Alliance Member's wormhole (which caused me a slight cash flow issue). I've never heard of folks making such a commitment to a new member, except for Sengier.

I have more Trade and Reprocessing skills then I do combat skills, and that enabled us to make the Isk we made. Others wanted what we had, or disapproved of our competing in "their" market, and hence the original need for Mercs. I was all Care Bear. no doubt, and my combat log proves it. The other Directors also had skills mainly geared toward our business, so yes, we couldn't mount the greatest High Sec PVP fleet in history, but we could do a little bit....

All of our Mercs did great and I have no ill will towards any of them, in fact hope to maybe use their services again in the future. I understand why they did what they did, and honestly don't fault them.

Still, I strongly value loyalty and trust, and Sengier has that in spades. While his diplomatic skills may be insufficient for his role, his personal integrity and honor can not rightly be called into question.

I was away dealing with RL when these events unfolded, so I haven't much to comment on there, but I will say this:

If Sengier and I were walking through a dark alley and a gang of assassins yielding knives jumped us, I know he'd have my back. I might still die, but not because he didn't try.

I'd rather work with folks who have my back then a supposed ally who takes offence at a badly chosen comment and turns against me.

Meanwhile, that book closes, and a new one begins.
