Should you point and laugh at upcoming hulkageddon and its participants?

These two are more for ganking if you have Concord coming to the rescue. Doesn't help in a war dec.
-> Tank up - implants, CPU rigs, Damage Control, et cetera.
-> Carry drones - ECM if they haven't been nerfed yet might help.

You can scan while cloaked and if you find Hemorphite it is worth more than pyroxes too.

I guess if you fit this (or some other kind of tank), and you're able to survive a gankattack, you can point and laugh. Otherwise, cower in fear.

Twice the EHP (24.3k) your fit has. Boosting won't really help you against alpha strikes and 1000+ dps

you are thinking in way to difficult terms.
I only want to have hulkageddon and its participants to have a bad day every now and than.
It would be so one-sided if they didnt, dont you think.

And not by fighting, we will do that another time, but by being able to have a laugh with these guys.

You like a good laugh dont you?

The boosters are for NPC pirates.
Anti-gank is all about buffer and resists.
If you are getting ganked you don't have time to use boosters or rechargers.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Thought Id add a little here to help the fun along, its great to see people doign fun stuff, keep this in mind:

Take 5 freinds in destroyers fitted like this:

Hi: 8 of the cheapest, highest damage small short range guns (so catalyst would be 8 X small neutron blaster 1s)

Mids: Optional, you dont need mids at all really.

Lows, all damage mods all the way, all cheap (so gallente would fit max number of magnetic stabiliser 1s)

load 5 highest damage short range faction ammo into each gun (so gallente would be guristas antimatter)

And, 1 alt or freind in a small (claoky is better) ship. He gets you a nice warp in on a hulk, you all warp in, attack the hulk and laugh.

It really does take just 5 of tehse ridiculously cheap ships to kill a hulk, tanked or not (teh only ones you may struggle with is faction tanked, but even they usually die). The great thing is you can even do this if you are all (except teh cloaky warp in) are -10 as you just fly as fast as you can to teh system an dwarp in as soon as your scout has a target, yes concord will continuosly spawn but dessies are fast enough to get away 99% of the time alowing you to fly several hisec systems in before attacking.

Its beautiful, its ridiculously cheap (like 10 mill or so for your whole gang) and you get to kill targets worth hundreds of millions, fun is had by all since now the miners are goign to enjoy it too, isnt it great?

if you're destroyer ganking your mids are sensor boosters, so you can pod them

What's a standard faction-fit hulk?

I need to start a library of mentally challenged* fits in PYFA to quickly calculate the maximum EHP a scanned hulk can have.

Most effective way to make fun of the hulkageddeoners is deying them the kills or even better killing them in your hulk.

I should respectfully remind you that both, gankers AND miners, are participants in hulkageddon, both are required and without one of the groups there would be no hulkageddon at all.

I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to all the participants -voluntary or not- of former events and of the coming one.

Your sacrifice is what keeps the economy running!


The point of the OP is that it would be hilarious if the hulkageddon participants would get ganked by miners and then start complaining about how it isn't fair.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...
