Let me get this straight:

I'm Caldari i spend months to get 12mil sp in missile ......... and then:

there you go boy we can give you a brend new caldari BS the Naga....

ops BTW you can't use missile or torpedoes or such, yes you have to

spend more months in gunnery if you want to fly it in pvp!!! EvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvil WTF

What does this have to do with Science and Industry? Shouldn't it be filed under "Warfare & Tactics"?

Everyone eventually crosstrains.

Consider this an incentive to get skills up that are beneficial for PvP. Naga is a PvP ship and in general PvP = guns due to the delay in delivering missile DPS. Once you get T2 guns to Naga, you need very little additional skills to fly most Gallente boats (except for a couple of drone-heavy ships like Dominix and Ishtar which require heavy investment in drone skills to be effective)

Note also that crosstraining makes you nerf-proof. No matter what CCP does in the future, you'll then be able to fly the current FOTM.

As has been said, cross train. Yes it sucks, but if you where a real caldari die hard, you would also of skilled for hybrids too to use all the ships available. Also as someone said before me, your almost nerf proof if you cross train to be able to use another races ships effectively.

Bite the bullet and start skilling up imo

The Naga is a Battlecruiser, not a Battleship.

And if you planned on flying Caldari anyway, why didn't you dabble in Hybrids, knowing they are also included in the Races' weapon choice?


Also I have yet to see these new BC's any good at PvP. A Tornado came into our system yesterday, and it was absolutely nuked in like 10 seconds flat. I'm sure they have their moments, tho.

95% of the players are loving EVE, the other 5%? On the forums.

I recently trained all the gunnery skills to 3 for hybrid, projectile, lasers, and support skills. I can now use any size of T1 turrets. It took about a week, not months.

I've since trained the support skills to 4. That didn't take long either.

Well, look on the bright side, you could have started as a Minmatar and have had to train projectiles, missiles, shields, and armor from day one. Oh, and drones.

They are fleet ships. Some people I know have had good success in small gangs. Not everything has to be good solo to be good at PvP.
