Hey!

Returning after a bit of a break, decided I want to give combat sites a go. I want to be running the sanctums, but my question is which systems will be sure to have them and if it's just nullsec are there systems I can find that will have stations I can dock up in? My ideal world is an out of the way system with a station that I can launch from, run my sites etc and venture back to Empire every now and then for resupply. I guess this query is more about the logistics of running sites than the sites themselves but any advice/pointers much appreciated! :)

Honestly unless you are going to live in nullsec in a major alliance your looking at NPC null. It can get you sanctums but not regularly and most residents there actually run pirate missions for their isk.

So I'm looking at NPC null - is that heavily populated? Are there systems that will more or less spawn frequent sanctums? I'm aiming to load up a carrier and jump in somewhere and use that for the sites so I'd be fairly bound to the one system (I'd want to set up a POS safe as well - can I do that in NPC null?)

My recommendation is to look into finding wormhole connections and day-tripping into quiet corners of sovereign space, if you really want to run anomalies.

Either that, or check out the Imperium's renting options. Then you can run anomalies to your little heart's content.

You could fly a carrier to NPC space and set up a POS, but NPC space is usually a good place to find PVP. Setting up a POS is probably just asking someone to kill it for you.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
