Sell Orders Rules

In addition to the regular forum rules, there are rules specific to this forum that must be followed when posting sell orders or auctions.

  • Only sales of In-Game items for In-Game ISK is permitted in this forum.

  • Threads started in this forum are for items that are For Sale, On Auction or for a service in exchange for in-game Isk only. Characters and Game Time Codes are explicitely excluded.

  • If you wish to auction an item, put [Auction] in your topic. For example, [Auction] Apocalypse. Likewise, if you offer a service put [Service] in your topic.

  • When a deal has been made please change the thread title and the opening post stating that the item is no longer for sale or on auction.

  • Bumping is allowed only by the character who started the thread once per calendar day. Friendly or multiple bumps per day are not permitted. For services in which the original poster has left and not updated the thread for 30+ days, a new owner can take over the thread by filing a support ticket.

  • If you wish to sell several items at one time please put up one thread and do not start a new thread for each item.

  • Price checks (PC): Please price check in the Price Checks forum where they belong.

  • This forum is for selling items or offering services, you may reply to the threads with bids or questions regarding the item. All other posts are off topic and will be removed.

  • Anti-competitive behavior and trolling: Where an auctioner has specified a minimum bid (minimum increments to place your bid by), bids not meeting this may be deleted. Bidders who are genuinely not interested to buy (i.e posting 1 isk bids) will have their bids deleted.

  • Reselling for others: You may not sell or resell an item for a player that has been banned from the forums.

  • You may not advertise, or post links to 3rd party or private run auctions on another site.

  • Auctions

    • - [AUCTION] tag in thread title
    - Starting/minimum bid
    - Minimum bid increment
    - Closing date and time.

    You may want to include:

    - Reserve price
    - Buyout price
    - Sniper rule
    - Item Location

  • Sell Orders

    • - [WTS] tag in thread title (short for Want To Sell or Would like To Sell).
    - Include item location
    - Quantity availble if applicable

  • Services

    • - [SERVICE] tag in thread title.

    If you are offering an industrial service such as hauling, mining or anything POS contract based you may post them here.
  • Please do not take matters into your own hands if your thread needs moderation, please use the report function on the forums or file a petition under the categories Other and Forums.

  • Trading is not binding, if one party does not honor an agreement made on these forums, ISD or CCP may not be able to help you.

    • For all other forms of scamming we refer you to the reimbursement-policy and this Knowledge Base article.

    This has been extended to include website hosting and voice chat services. Please note that scamming for out of game services is not allowed; for more information see this post by GM Lelouch.

    [*]Trading of Collector’s Edition codes and other promotional codes is not allowed. The Trading or Sale of the Golden Capsule is not allowed.

Rules On Capital Sales In High Sec:

We all remember the Chribba Veldnaught scare of 2008 and the rules we subsequently set for capitals in high sec.

Rules created after this prohibit the sales of capital ships in high security space. Many of the capitals currently in high security space have been mistakenly moved there through reimbursement and so and there have been cases where the owners have seen this as a golden opportunity to sell their capitals at extremely high prices to players who don‘t necessarily know too much about the rules for capitals in high sec.

Sales of capital ships in high sec are hereby prohibited, be it on the regular market or through the contract system.

Here are the updated rules for capital ships in high sec:

1. Capital ships may under no circumstances be used for aggression.

2. If at war, or with war declaration pending, you may not take your capital ship out of station.

3. You may not use your capital ship’s attributes to gain any sort of advantage over other players while in high security space.

4. You may not sell or put your capital up for sale while in high security space.

5. Breach any of the above and receive 2 weeks ban and off to low sec with your capital.

Please be sure to stick to those rules if you have a capital ship in high sec or else we’ll be forced to move it down to low sec.
