[HELP] change location of prime cache folder

So I noticed my prime cache folder is 24+ GB. firstly, is this correct? (when DOD came in, i chose to download all the resource files as i didn't trust the resource downloading) but still seems like a huge size.

As I am using a 120GB SSD, it is cramping up a lot of space. I would like to move the prime cache folder to another HDD, while still keeping client+launcher on the SSD.

Can I simply copy the prime cache folder to the new HDD, change the target in the Launcher, then delete the folder on the SSD?

Will having client on SSD and prime cache on HDD be a safe option?
