Windowed on Second Display Colour Problems

Hi There

I have a 27 inch iMac 2011. I have a Micro Display to HDMI converter into an external 21 inch samsung monitor.

I am trying to run eve in windowed mode in 1920 x 1080 on that monitor or less, due to the mac cutting off the bottom of the frame ( annoying )

I am having an issue where i have set my display colour settings and when i have not selected my mouse in the eve window or clicked in the eve window the colours look great and brightness is good. But if I click on the eve window to interact with the game, the brightness and or gamma gets really dark. Dark enough that i cant see allot of the detail inside the station. By doing that the whole monitor including the menu bar above and desktop background becomes darker, more contrasty, gama changed also.

This is a problem for me now as i would like to work on one monitor and eve on the other but I will die if I cant see whats going on.

Can someone help with this who has had a similiar problem. What am i doing wrong.

Additionally is there any way to make a custom resolution for Mac second displays?

I feel like when i click on the window, eve is causing my display to ignore the color settings found in Display preferences on the iMac settings page.

Hope you can help.

All the Best
