Behold, The 'Mail Truck' Ares.

High: Cloak.
Mids: Afterburner (coz, scrams?), Med Shield Extender, EM shield amp.
Lows: 3x Inertial Stab II, 1x Expanded Cargohold II
Rigs: 2x Small Cargohold Optimisation II.


Sub 2s align time means you should NEVER get caught unless you derp and derp hard. A handy, dandy 175m^3 of cargo space (or ~300m ISK worth of Nanite Repair Paste) and can survive a smartbombing BS (still a good idea to bounce off a handy POCO if you can't get a d-scan on your out-gate).

Feel free to swap out the cargo mid and rigs for something else.

Which matters less as you will fit a covops cloak - it is difficult to lose a fast-align, covops cloaked, interdiction nullified vessel with raw cruiser ehp. If you do not need cargohold, nothing beats the Yacht - and it is far more stylish than a ceptor ;)

As everybody pointed out, fit agility-boosting modules and the Interceptor's advanced electronic systems will take care of the rest. Goonswarm's interdictors will not stop you, nor will the big bubbles.

Be advised of this: I once lost a ceptor to an instaloki that killed it in one shot even before an accompanying scripted dictor could disable it. Lucky for me this was a day after I had moved a load of expensive blueprints, but the local nefarious nabob was waiting that time. There was not even an "align to" entry in the log before the ship was destroyed.

Your dead already,

Fit warp core stabs, you will get insta locked its unavoidable. I've lost tons of intys in the last month due to over confidence in intys sig radius.

Align time and wcs....if you rely on align time alone you will die to faction frigs or tactical dessies.
