Cal navy warden vs warden 2

Which is better? I was told to use the caldari navy but when I look at stats the warden 2 has a higher dmg modifier with the same ranges optimals etc.

T2 drones are always better.

faction drones are pretty useful as you can use them without the skills for t2, and they have extra hitpoints. t2 drones beat the faction drones for damage though.

Navy drones have a 5% increase to their tracking and double the hitpoints (roughly) of their t2 counterparts.

everything else is the same apart from the fact that T2 drones will benefit from the 2% per level of the racial specialisation of skill.

So assuming perfect skills:

faction sentry: +5% tracking
t2 sentry: +10% damage

Faction drones also cost a lot more.

What drones to use is the same as the rest of the game everyone has a favorite and it is based more on personal preference than on facts. Some say the Domi is the best drones ship in the game, others say the Rattlesnake is. In reality neither is "best" as they both have strengths and weaknesses.

Going back to your drones question .
If you need the HP then use the Cal Navy variant.
Other wise use the T2 since the only other advantage is the .0006 increase in tracking and in most situations that would have minimal impact on how effective they are.

1) yes I personally think the rattlesnake is better but then again the navy dominix is a better comparison then t1 dominix since the navy dominix has dual damage bonus where as t1 dominix has a drone tracking bonus instead. Role bonus frim the snake means you get 7.5 effective drones that the Dominix only gets by training gallente battleship 5. They're also great for soaking damage when they get aggro when the dominix might be considering recalling his sentries.

2)Don't forget the damage bonus from racial specialization which you do not get with faction drones.(bleh re-read tsukino's post and she covered it.)
