With alt accounts and the character bazaar this is irrelevant; for example I started playing in 09, having sold my first character a couple of years ago, this is my main and his character age doesn't reflect that.

DMC isn't all bad despite some very glaring quirks of his, he's actually ben helpful to people. He's actually not my least favorite forum poster either.

But he doesn't know when to back down, when to even leave a thing alone or acknowledge a loss or failing. IMO (and only having his forum posts to go on) He paints himself into an illogical corner and doesn't know how to get out because of pride.

Why judge characters on their age? Because if a character posts statements without providing proof pertaining to another character about something that clearly happened long before it was created, then their statements don't have any credence. All it does is perpetuate hearsay.

As for not harboring any ill will towards me, I beg to differ. You've demonstrated it quite a bit in the past so why would now be any different, especially since I never directed any statements towards you until after the fact.

Understand this, I don't carry in game grievances into my life outside of the game and its environs. In the context of Eve I will quite happily shoot you in the face in game, that carries over onto the forums where opinions and viewpoints related to Eve are going to differ.

Outside the context of Eve and the forums, I will happily share a beer with my, ingame and forum, enemies anytime.

I have no out of game beef with you as a person, as I said I wish you no ill will.

Let's set the record straight :

My original post in this thread was a simple statement of disagreement with the OP mixed in with a little bit of sarcasm, nothing more. No personal attacks were directed towards anyone.

Due to the thread topic a bunch of fanboys, friends and alts in true GD mentality decided to start trolling me by posting personal attacks, incorrect statements and unfounded accusations.

After refuting said statements and accusations, others such as yourself for no other reason than to be part of the crowd, decided to jump in and continue the flame war.

You chose a side when you decided to post incorrect statements about me and you still insist on doing so. In fact this latest reply from you is nothing more than a troll post intended to demean me and incite rage, basically fanning the flames of a forum thread war.

Just own it, you're trolling. I'm less concerned whether or not you are in fact trolling, but not recognizing that that is in fact what you are doing gives me concern. I'm just giving you an honest assessment, I don't recognize any such accusation of flame war in my behalf. If I chose to do that, there would be no question to my intent and purpose. However, 'history' has not moved me in that direction. Correction, yes, flame war, definitely not. As for what followed this opening post, I assume that was it's intent and desired outcome, as all baiting tends to be designed for.
