The Lord is my judge and of all who judge me.

This humble servant of the Lord renews her pledge of everlasting obedience to His Majesty Khanid II, Holder of Khanid, Lord of the Marches.
She pledges never to think, speak or act in discord or defiance of her King, and her Lord.

I'm not sure why, but this reminds me of the old tale of when some ancient King demanded that the leader of a Sebiestor traveler party kiss his feet. He obeyed with grace and a smile, grabbing and lifting the king by his feet and giving that boot a thorough kiss before dropping him on his neck.

Nevermind me though, I'm just trying to imagine someone trying to impose that sort of sycophant behavior in a civilized land. I suspect it'd end somewhat like the old tale.

It is good to have Unity once more with these Khanid brethren. May we turn our attentions once more to the external threats.
