ok, I'll look into this.
(You guys are talking a lot about Incarna, but the character creator was released with Incursion and I am assuming you guys are talking the release of the character creator... is that right assumption?)

Hi all..

I apologize i have not posted when perhaps needed above, i am from the UK and it was very late last night.

OK, Karkur - i have 1 last character i have not changed as yet - jaxx speed - perhaps this will help for checks etc.

My issue is very much the same as Neska T'Kla explains, i also have done the remake on incursion(?) release, or when 1st released. I had also re-made all my characters again soon after when we had the chance to, given by CCP as we all made our mistakes at 1st :) .It was soon after this i was unable to play for some time,but i had been logging on with no problems with new characters, last time i logged on was about 7-8 months ago , until now. After going through the re-creation again with 2 of my characters now, its no different a process than i had already done before. So i am still no wiser as to why this happened. As Neska explains it goes into creation with no options at all to avoid.

I took a look at Neska today, and for some strange reason it's like we just don't have any avatar info for him, and therefore he has to be recreated as if his avatar had never been created.
To be honest, I'm not sure if there is anything we can do about it* but I'll try to figure out what has happened so we can try to prevent it from happening again.

*perhaps the info is stored in a different table, and was not migrated propely, but don't hold your breath

and jaxx, it's pretty sad to be hitting on yourself

But shes sooo hot

I shall do the same Karkur and leave jaxx for now, incase that may help at all. GL with the issue, Perhaps i could be contacted if anything could be done about old Mier, or perhaps i can save jaxx speed yet.

This is only an alt on my main account, so it's not a huge problem, but I guess I wont be bringing my other account back in as all the chars on there will have the same problem...

As long as you haven't created a new avatar, then your old one should just be there once the fix gets rolled out. If, on the other hand, you did go through the character creation process again, then I can't promise anything, but would recommend you petition the issue.

yes, I think it has been patched. Are you still having this issue? If you are, you should probably file a petition and see what the GMs can do for you.

Neska, your character should be back now.
It works now, right?

If you guys are missing your existing characters (or it was missing and you remade it and want the old one back), please file a petition, and some nice GMs can fix the characters for you :D

I have 8 Characters accross 4 Accounts with the issue mentioned in this thread.

Barret' Wallace

Ronald Greer
Tifa 'Lockheart

All of the above characters have been recreated, but now get dropped straight into caharcter creation on login.
I'd be very grateful if you could look into these Characters for me please.
