Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I've been playing EVE For a couple months now and am on a data restrained network. One of the brilliant things about this game is that with a fully downloaded/installed Resource cache, the game uses virtually no data when compared to other online games. I can play the game intensively, Jumping/Combat all day for a 14 hour day and use about 150MB Down/20MB Up.

Today however I've noticed an irregular spike in the way the game starts and runs. On normal startup the game would use about 1-2MB to get the launcher open and get you in the game, as of this morning it's now using 8MB to get through the launcher and another 2MB to get into the game, making each relog cost 10MB instead of the normal 1-2MB. At the same time I've also observed an irregular spike in just normal data usage within the game, What used to be maybe 10MB per hour played is now randomly jumping even though there is no Resource loading, and nothing occuring, I've sat it there next to me today while watching TV, docked in station doing nothing to see what would happen.

Pressing ctrl_shift_alt_m will bring up the network monitor and I've noticed it just randomly shoot to 7MB usage in a split moment for no reason, nothing changed, I didn't interact with the game in any mannerism, didn't pull up an interface, didn't browse market data, just looked over to see MB's recently used in the network monitor.

Now I also use Rainmeter to track full system data usage as well and this reflects as well as my Verizon Mifi device data tracker. So what's going on with the game? Will this be fixed in the near future or is this how EVE is going to function from here on? I thought I had found a jewel in being able to play this game unimpeded by my data restrictions, but if this is the case then I already have to move on before I could even begin.

All of this is relevant as of 7/18, if there are logs I can export of these occurrences I will gladly do so to help the development team in any way I can. Just respond in this thread and I be occasionally checking it throughout this week for responses and hopefully see network usage drastically diminish over the coming week.

I believe I may have found the issue as I was constantly enduring a socket lost as well during the morning, something possibly with tethering my Mifi device to the computer seems to be causing it to reconnect constantly without it ever going offline, Upon further review and investigation this afternoon, I do not believe this to be an EVE issue and request this forum post to be removed/locked/deleted.
