Overview glitch

So I have all 5 tabs set up and a bunch of presets to set them to. Still though, there comes a time when I need to customize, often more than one tab.

Scanning down ships for example....depending on where you think they might be forces you to turn on and off different celestial options, maybe others. Usually I find I want a mix...planets and moons, with and without asteroid belts, etc...

Unfortunately though, this behaves quite badly. As long as all of my tabs are set to presets, things seem to go ok, but when I begin editing them, it all goes whacky. I'll switch to another tab and it'll just pull the settings from the one I was on, destroying what was there. The overview settings will think that I've got things turned on that I don't....wierdness liike that.

So for example if I activate my PvP preset in two tabs and begin editing one everything seems fine. Then I switch to the other and edit it. Now when I go back to the first I often get the second settings, not the first. Further, when I first switch to the second the options listed in the overview setting window are the same as the first but this isn't an accurate reflection of what I see in the overview.

The combination of bugs has made me wonder if the code governing the edits to overviews isn't coupled to the idea of there being only one, unlisted, "editing" preset available that is then switched to when you begin changing an overview tab instead of having each tab create a new one. At any rate, when you start customizing tab settings the whole context switching thing is way glitched out and tabs begin behaving both like one and many at the same time.

This has been going on for a very long time. I was sort of hoping that you'd eventually fix it. Seems like one of those things that should be high-visibility/low-cost; the kind of thing that makes you look either good or like a bunch of hackers. Could you guys work it in please?
