Hi,

last time I used a carrier for ratting was like 4 years ago in drone space and I want to ask if it is still a viable option.

Im a Amarr Pilot and cant fly a Ishtar and my Palladin sucks vs the Gurista Rats wehre Im currently living.

I thought that I could kill most BS with Fighters (and stay aligned with carrier) while my alt (wich can fly Ishtar with good skills) pulls out some sentry or other drones to kill of frigs etc.

For this I would just refit my triage archon with repper, EANM, drone damage amplies and control mods.

any thoughts or advices?

thats the way i done it when living in null but with a thanny, ishtar to kill small fast stuff and fighters on the bs's, worked great

oh cmon what a lame flame/troll post please try harder you can do better Im sure!

Archon is even cheaper then my Palladin considering the high insurence payout.

You should run 4 Drone links and a remote rep in the highs. The remote rep is more a thing to keep the mobile depot alive in case you get dropped.

Else, a capital repair mod, a target painter and like 8-9 drone mods. Just the repairer on its own is sufficient to keep you alive against rats, the combat fit is what you swap into once a gang lands on your head.
