Hello CCP and fellow capsuleers!

I've encountered a rather frustrating crash which seams to happen randomly. I usually run two copies of eve (dual monitor) and I would like to point out that this crash happens even if I run a single client on a single monitor (with the second one unplugged).

This crash happened while I was out in space and while docked at a station. I am able to run both copies maxed out on settings and I have tried to set both copies on the lowest graphical settings and the crash still occurred.

I know c0000005 is usually a memory issue. Could be a faulty/corrupt install. That's about as much as I know, though. Sadly, I'm not the family computer guru.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

After doing some research, I found out that other people had this issue back in 2012. Switching to DX9 seams to resolve the issue. This is obviously just a temporary fix. Dx9 is not as shinny as DX11.
