I'm willing to bet that I've had more things comped by being entirely polite and understanding of the fact that **** happens, then you have by demanding and complaining.

Well, maybe unless you're dealing with outright jerks like the cable company--even then, I'm nice to the flunky on the other end of the line, because it's not their fault. But CCP aren't the cable company. Every interaction I've had with them has been positive.

As many others already said: It's a couple hours you missed worth a couple cents.
This money isn't even worth the time you took writing this thread.
Sure it would be nice if CCP decided to give the players something of some kind for the inconvenience.
But they don't have to and this is okay. It's something that can happen and asking or even demanding anything from CCP for those 25 cents you lost is just a douche move.

I demand a compensation, too! The 25 cents CCP owes me, shall be delivered personally by CCP Seagull and CCP Puncturis.
And they have to deliver it by walking to here! Water isn't an excuse, the other guy did it already some 2000 years ago!
A Pizza and a 25 gallon keg of mead would also be appreciated! Cool

Sigh.. i hate entitled people. Server offline for half a day. Demands 5 days of compensation.. really? Seriously, the people demanding compensation must be children with no jobs, or have been handed everything to them their whole life. Apparently have never had a job and never realized **** happens that is out of our control. Suck it up, and go get laid for those 12 hours the server was down.

For this one, they probably will.

But the more people that post about it or demand it, the less we deserve it - and remember no one is entitled to it.

I won't say that I feel entitled to anything and I'd be grateful if anything at all was given to players as a form of compensation, but I'd like to say that some of us actually pay RL money for the game time, using in-game bought PLEX only from time to time, or for dual training.

I understand people that feel they should be compensated for not being able to play for 1/2 day, even thought that doesn't exactly applies to me, as I was at work and therefore I wouldn't be playing anyway.



Thing is, entitled spoiled brats DEMAND some compensation in a very disgusting way. Personally I don't mind having some event itwms or something similar, it's just this approach of "gimme" generation that makes me (and apparently some other people too) sick.

PS OP is actually still quite civilised about it, go check other threads into new players subfirum...

I'll assume this isn't a troll, since OP isn't in a NPC corp...

Why would you get more than a day of extended play time for 8 hrs of extended down time?

You're a total dumbass if the downtime lead to a training queue expiring now that you can queue 50 skills regardless of train time. My current queue is 215 days just for giggles.
