I remember when you got podded and woke up in a new clone, the first thing was an eery AURA voice recorded in a dry, slightly reverb and ambient echo, saying, "Ha ha ha! Oh, you foolish pilot...!" Creepy.

I remember Memory being the first skill to train.

I also remember listening to Taxigirl on Eve Radio while raffles were held in chat that moved faster than jita local on a weekend.
Raffles, roams, fun times.

I remember quitting EQ for EVE and how sad I was about it.

Jumping into systems put you in a random location that changed each DT, usually many au's from a gate. Hearing the sound of your ship being destroyed by Zombie or Mo0 while the loading screen was still processing your jump.
