I got 10b isk sitting in my wallet. What are the best ways to put most of it to produce more isk. I'm doing trading but i find it hard to put all of it to use. Too many orders to update constantly. More the passive, more the better. Any tips are welcome! Thanks.

ISK is meaningless. The real currencies are effort, and risk.

Tricky question.

If you really want to invest and sit on your stuff for months and sell later you could invest in rare items. Rare stuff tends to rise over time.

Did you tried "Hardwiring - Genolution Core Augmentation CA-1"? Prices bottomed out at 45 - 50 mio in Jita and are rising again. Prices can double with ease within the next months. I have invested some spare billions too...

go long. There are several massive opportunities for the long term investor at the minute. You will need patience to do this but returns over 12 - 24 months will be better than burning out in 1 month trying to turn it over.

Could you fill me in on these orphan? I give you toy

Not saying there aren't but I normally stray away from really lengthy investments.

A) I get bored
B) CCP doesn't seem to know what they'll be working on in a month

I would buy Quafe shirts if you like long term investments/rare stuffs, 1 of items, from dawn of Incarna, highly collectible

I tell you only because I sold mine in one of many reoccurring fits of disgust with CCP clothing and NEX

Problem with these types of items, is that CCP has shown recently that they are open to making them new special offers, which ruins it all. Lack of imagination, clearly, ignorance.. whatever.

See I always figure those Jita orders for ...........people with spare ISK sitting around who ...........in the future ..... .........some other aspect of the game that ..... Then consider you have bought....a pop that is ...is the potential ....and you have ...measurement is a....for a potential ..... the future?

The .......little to do with.....but its the kind of mind .......for going long.

If you want a really lazy way to increase your isk with reasonable safety just buy plex when they are low and sell when they are high.

One caveat: just now the plex market is in transition because the expansion has altered the isk supply. Plexes can go down as well as up.

Thanks for the replies. Is trading only thing that scales with the capital one has? If you factor the work needed ofc.

Lend to other traders, let them play the 0.01 game for you. If you're not risk-averse take the unsecured ones, tend to have better interest. I, however only ever lend at 100% collateral, they do tend to be few and far between however.

Damn nature, you scary!

If that money is really just sitting into your wallet and you never go deep into it and you lack the imagination to do something with it, then I would suggest to find others that could put this money into good use. In other words: Become an investor/the partner of someone and put it to work like that.

Btw, in a sidenotice, I can always use more, I'm far from my limits... ;)

They told me to mine... and I started to mine, the market ;)

I'm currently heavily invested in one of these, expect at least 5x returns in the next two years.

However, the less people know, the cheaper it gets in the meantime. Which means I can buy more, and thus make more.

That's why people don't share.

I'm too ADD to put away a serious percentage of my NAV on long-ball gambles, even if they look air-tight. Most of the time though I can bring myself to squirrel away 15-20% on such things and I will admit that there are a few I have invested in at the moment and plan to sit on for around a year, looking for about 4x return.

Turning through two Tycoon alts every day has presented me with a bit of a limit (don't want another trade alt to manage either) so I can see myself going heavier into the long investments sooner or later if my success with daily and weekly ventures keeps going. I estimate my NAV between the two trade characters to be about 40bil atm.

The best part about investing with so much capital is the ability to really diversify in a wide range of markets. Once you get the hang of spotting good trades at a glance you should be able to manage churning a few billion a day with ease. My two tycoons cost me about 45mins a piece which I perform once a day to once a week depending on how busy I am, what I am invested in, and how the market is acting at that time of year (ie. summer is usually slower).

Ultimately your best bet is to start investing small in a lot of places and see where you can get some depth. Patch-day billions only come along every so often and they do make traders rich, but having solid principles and an ability to make isk off everyday trading is something that will keep you rich and won't force you to be reliant on the long-game and having large parts of your NAV tied up all the time.

The best thing to do with this amount of ISK is patch speculation. Read up for the next few months on what CCP's planning. Invest a couple of weeks before the update. Cash in a few days later. It could all go terribly wrong as well, but at the end of the day it is just pixels.

Any colour you like.
