What if we had the ability to color code d-scan kind of like the overview and fleet broadcasts?

Not supported. One of the fun things about D-Scan is figuring out which ship on D-Scan belongs to the hostile. For example, I was sitting on comms last night, listening to my friends chatter about various things, when a neutral showed up in the system where they were ratting.

Player 1: "Neutral in local! Where did he come from? Any idea what he is in?"
Player 2: "He did not come from _____ system."
Player 3: "Okay, I have two Tengu's and two Ishtars on D-Scan."
Player 1: "I am in an Ishtar named Oh Happy Day."
Player 2: "I am in a Tengu named Cha Cha."
Player 4: "I am in an Ishtar."
Player 3: "He must be in the Tengu named 100mn Kitey Nanofag. Let's kill him."

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Well, to color the d-scan after standings would be bad for obvious reasons...

But what i can imagine is to color the d-scan with the overview settings.
Like HACs green, T3C blue, T3D red, gates white and so on...
The color should be freely selectable like for the broadcasts, maybe with a few more color choices Roll

A step further would be to add that color coding also to the overview column "Type"...

Not by standing, but by object type would be fine.

Of course, you could always simply read the information already provided to you.
