God demands gold, nothing less. New color schemes are less glorious and the Empress and God is not pleased.

Fake edit: Why are Caldari T2 Lai Dai ships now more golden then Amarr. You are messing with a racial meme!

The Oracle looks more golden than my butter-yellow Arbitrator.

Fake EDIT: The Bustard is a desert brown, not gold.

Leaves only the fresh scent of pine.

If you think Amarr skins are currently unattractive, the Minmatar are infinitely worse.

However, these new textures will likely look significantly different once these ship go through the V3 revisions.

The new Apoc is V3 (and the Maller uses the V3 scheme).

And it is dull. Looks like someone scratched the gold off of it.

The new Amarr color is lackluster, and removes the feel of regalness that the shiny gold had.

However, CCP needs to quickly redo the Amarr stations so I'm not blinded by their reflection of the now brighter suns.

A agree that amarr must stay golden. I don't want to imagine my legion getting the same treatment as the apoc.
I'd rather have the other ammar ships getting a similar skin as the legion, more shiny gold and silver stuff.

All amrian ships are subject to being V3'd and possibly reV3'd again.

I was thinking the same about the silver on Gallente ships. Myrmidon and Sin used to have really nice shiny silver parts on them. The shine has just gone from most the ships. Although the Oracle seems to have a shiny gold on the edges.

Oh, sorry.... that was Minmitar. We needed your gold to plate over the rust on our own ships :)

Corina, to my knowledge the Apoc has not been V3'd yet. The textures have been tweaked, but there is more to the V3 process than that.

The Maller has been V3'd (I presume) but I don't know if they are finished with it yet. Truthfully the Maller wasn't exactly a "oh, pretty, shiney" ship before it was redone either.

As for the use of silver on some ships, they appear to be using a "gun metal" finish instead on several ships. I wasn't sure if I liked the darker tone that gave those ships, but it's starting to grow on me.
