Just curious as to whether there are any resources regarding crew/personnel typically on-board a Mobile Depot (And presumably other structures that may have crew) . The Depot in-game models have little windows and are 56m in length, so it certainly looks like they could be crewed.

Only semi-solid clue I have is that space stations have populations in the millions. I don't remembere where I've read that, but seems plausible given they are typically several tens of kilometers across. I don't think there is any official fluff on exact population figures on POSes or other deployable things, unless there is something in EVE: Source (which I don't own).

The depots are half the size of a frigate, but probably have a frigate sized crew due to their function - rearmament/refitting of ships in space. So anywhere from 10 to 40. Probably somwhere around the middle.

Edit: There is one fluff piece about the Malkalen catastrophe that was said to have killed "hundreds of thousands."

In the Empyrean Age the Ishukone Corporation which was destroyed in the Malkalen incident was said to have a maintenance crew population of 55,000 and a resident population of 250,000. Perhaps the numbers are off, one way or another, due to these figures being from a time when the station was playing host to high level delegations from Ishukone, the Federation, and probably other State interests. However, it was the main station for one of the Big 8 and so can probably be taken as representative of one of the larger station populations. "Capital" stations like the EFA or its Federation equivalent in Luminaire or Villore might play host to residents numbering closer to a million, but that's just speculation by yours truly so far as I know.

I vaguely remember reading something about a certain station having 800 thousand people not too long ago.

There is a thing I posted about mobile depot size with a comparison model.
