Nullsec ore anomalies have very very big asteroids, wormhole too but to daytrip with a mining fleet in them is complete madness. Both low and null sec asteroid belts are not really better in terms of size of rocks.
And multiple battleship spawns.

It costs to live in null if you want to ship stuff back to Jita and sell it run a SRP, multiple POS's, yada, yada, yada. You can contribute via various different ways depending on the alliance. The DeepSpace Alliance has an Industrial wing where you don't have to PvP, but there are a couple 2hr mining ops/week were everything goes towards that corps cost of POS fuel, shipping expenses, etc.

I've lived in null for the better part of 2.5 years and I'm telling you its much safer and better ISK and LOTS more fun than dealing with high sec. Here's the recruitment thread for the aliance: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=404256&find=unread

I just joined this Corp 11 days ago but because of RL stuff I've only been able to log in for about 5 days and I've made about 3.8 billion ISK. I've got 8 accounts mining, 1 boosting and one killing rats that show up in the belts. There's plenty of ore. Come on down.

Well I think they need miners to raise their indexes while taxing them. I'm a bit scared of being used.

It's a win than win for everyone. You experience the social aspect of the game, make mad ISK and learn about mining in null which is much safer than hi sec and you're contributing toward something, being part of a team. As part of that it easier for the pvp people to defend the space. It's as simple as that.

If you're using a freighter in the belt you're taxing yourself since that removes a miner from your income stream. Mine in the system I'm, or another alliance member is in, and the boosts are provided; you just join the fleet and now that toon that was flying the orca or freighter can fly a mining ship.

Actually Yes.
You find a Wormhole and go mining in nullsec.

There is no mechanism in the game to tax mining at the corp/alliance level. You will get taxed on beating up the rats that tried to beat you up (the game has a mechanism for taxing ratting bounties).

There are high security systems that are surrounded by low security space. I've found in the past that these systems are less mined due to the fact players have to travel through low sec to get to them. In high sec space these systems are where I'd expect to find the best belts.
