Ok, to start with, my apologies for this in possibly the wrong place, it just didn't seem to fit anywhere that my tired eyes could see. If it needs moving, please do so.

Anyway, on to my issue.

I just resubbed my 2nd account after about a year and it seems the corp is about dead. Nobody logs on any more.

I thought "Never mind, I'm still a director, I can probably take over the corp and use it to my own ends."
But it seems not. The old CEO took all the shares so I can't run for CEO or start a vote.

Is there some way I can get around this please?

petition, i think a GM can help you if the old CEO has gone away for a long time. They sometimes come in and manually change things.

The CEO needs to have not logged in on any of his characeters on the CEO account for a minimum of 6 months, and even then it's a coin toss as to whether the GM will help or not.

We recently had a similar issue where the CEO had about 3 months worth of of network downtime and couldn't play, we got hold of him and asked him to send a petition in asking them to move CEO form him to one of us which he did form an internet café, would you believe they actually refused. lol.

If you haven't already, request that the petition be escalated to a senior GM.
