How long until Hecate prices stabilize?

So I didn't pay attention when the previous T3 destroyers came out... but I'm interested in the Hecate.

I'm not into the markets (I went to law school because there wasn't any math on the entrance exam!) but I'm assuming that the price will eventually end up where the other T3 destroyers are... approx 40M.

As of now, the price is apprx 68M in Jita and 100M in Dodixie. I completely understand that the initial demand is much higher than supply... but how long are we looking at for things to equalize and settle in to the 40M area? A couple days? A week?

Help a poor market-challenged guy out and tell me how long I'm going to have to wait for my poor butt to be able to buy a Hecate at a price that I'm not going to regret!

Probably will take about 10 times as long to hit 120% of long term price as a Hecate takes to produce.

And 5 times that long to hit 100-105% of long term price.

Seriously though, will it hurt you economically to overpay 30 million to fly the ship now, assuming you want to?

Yeah, it's strange how you can afford to lose 40m but not 68m.

That's actually why I'm asking the question. I can afford to fly them and get blown up at 68M a pop. But I would much rather wait a couple days and lose them at 40M each if that's all the time it is going to take for the price to reach that level.

25-30M more for each hull is a trivial difference for some. For others it is prohibitively expensive. For me it is affordable, but has some sting to it.

If it's only a matter of a few days, I will happily wait for prices to come down. It we're talking a couple weeks, then I will go ahead and bite the bullet and buy a few at the inflated price. (I just didn't want to come right out and say that in my OP since that would be an open invitation for everyone who currently has Hecates for sale to respond that it will be "months, months I tell you!" before the price comes down Big smile
