i am struggling to come up with a decent fit for a Loki to be able to run relic/data sites in null and at the same time hunt explorers in sub T3 ships.

Any help or advice would be appreciated but yes I know that Tengus are better. I would just really like to use a Loki so please give this poor man some advice! Thanks Big smile

Unfortunatelly Loki is not successfull in this role. Try Pproteus or either Sratios.

HippoWhisperer and another dude were harassing ratters in cloaking lokis, might be a good place to start. They were mostly going after ishtars in gurista space so might want to change the hardener.

if you are mostly ganking smaller ships I'm not sure you need to change much, might want to switch to the long range web sub, or the scan probe sub. Or if you just plan to hide in sites and wait for people you can use a core probe launcher.

After looking at it for a while, I really don't like the slot layouts on the loki for this kind of work. and the way it tries to switch between shields and armor depending on which subs you use...

If you're looking more at the exploration end of things and just going for targets of opportunity (that is, frigates in professional sites) while wandering, this works:

Loki Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir

If you're more dedicated to killing things rather than just catching them with their pants down you would of course swap the data analyzer for a point. I've certainly bagged a few kills without; it's amazing how slow people react when they're trying to hack.

Edit: and play around with it. 650s definitely fit if you want to play the alpha game. 220s are nice for tracking though.
