When I first saw it, I instinctively brought my mouse down to the icon to do something with it and was gravely disappointment.

I can fully agree that this is so very much annoying.

And my poor mouse, getting sent to the corner for the screen for no reason.

It'd be nice if they didnt show up when you've turned the HUD off too, very frustrating!

My mouse does the same, so I'm going to assume that you also use an optical mouse, which is part of the problem. It's not so bad when I'm playing eve, but it's really annoying playing first/3rd person games as my character will randomly look up/down and spin in circles constantly until I physically lift the mouse and start over. It does make those games more challenging however Cool

I'm more irritated by the fact that it overlaps my undock button...

And no, I don't want my neocom on the left of the screen just because of an unmoveable popup.

What a good idea to make it somewhat inter-actable Pirate

Something that we could put on BFF's backlog..

What I think would be cool would be to add the right click menu as you have on characters in other places, being able to drag it to chat to link the character and maybe add the standing icon?

I must admit these were not all my original ideas, they came from players as many other good ideas - picked this up somewhere on the forumsSmile
