Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Have a problem with the chat windows in game.
Whenever I open a new chat window, or someone starts a conversation with me, the new chat window doesn't stack with my other chat windows (local, corp etc..). Instead it appears as a floating window, often hiding behind my other chat windows, so I can't even see someone has started a conversation with me. I've tried pinning, unpinning, checking and unchecking boxes in the game settings, I've tried docking the window manually a few times as I read the game is supposed to remember your window settings as long as all windows are unpinned, but nothing helps.
I've tried searching for someone with a similar problem, but haven't been able to find any. Tried in-game help channel, but no luck there either.

Any help resolving this is much appreciated.
