While I take a look in the mirror, you should take a look at my corp history. I haven't played in high-sec in a long, long time. Unlike some folks here, I'm not saying what I'm saying out of self-interest. I just think it'd be better for the game as a whole.

Pretty sure half the people in this thread could post with a character that's flipped in and out of PL, or several other nullsec entities. It means jack all.

You might claim no self interest, but bullshit like you're slinging only comes from one place. Butthurt.

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.

Because EvE is not a game of alts?

Because most null dwellers have highsec alts to do shopping and hauling for them?

Personally, I have alts that, in the six plus years since I created them, have not once left highsec. Hell, my Jita shopping alt has undocked once in her life, and that was to fly from noob station to Jita 4-4.

So, your corp history is pretty much irrelevant in this case, as it is still entirely possible you speak from an accute case of butthurt.

Your lack of actual knowledge about the highsec ecosystem is exactly the case why you should shut your trap.
Highsec ganking is good for highsec because it keeps it a diverse and somewhat risky environment where you are forced to have a minimum degree of interaction with your environment or pay the fines.

Highsec ganking is the most important part of highsec and anyone who can't see it for what it is is deluding themselves on terms of short term goals and ultirior motives that aren't well thought of.

I suspect if you brought 300 friends you'd have a fighting chance.

Fighting chance yes.
Stopping the gank chance no.

Being able to gank anything for infinite reward using free ship, being loss immune, and generally having no trouble for it...

Oh, don't forget to add that these pirates have 3000% learning speed, get free t2 rigs and modules, have infinite warp speed and concord ignores them on grid while flashing red. Their infinite capacitor and in-destroyer clone bay means they wake up instantly on target after being destroyed.

They **** quafe, crap exotic dancers and diddle the spacepope too, let's not forget that.

When you consider Burn Amarr, and the Burn Jitas before that, were short term events that were well advertised as going down way in advance, the only ones to blame for anyone ganked in any of those events are the people that got ganked.

1. We're all still waiting for you to tell us where to get those free catalysts.
2. Just because the loss is small, comparatively, does not imply there is no loss. Gankers are simply smart enough to minimize their losses, which you apparently are not.
3. It is obvious you've never tried to fly in highsec with even a poor standing with a faction, much less negative security status.
4. Yes, it is rigged. I'm not even a ganker and I realize this.
5. Such stupid is right, however it's not coming from the gankers.

You're wasting your time Iain Cariaba, he's already shown a lack of honesty and a great deal of exaggeration. He can't refute the facts already given and will simply keep on spouting the same lies.

I know, but I can't help but try and find out where those free catalysts are coming from. Lol

You create them with Pixie dust and spells. It's all very legit and above board. Big smile

Yeah? Lets see yours, junior.

There is no butthurt required to hold the opinion that ganking, as it exists at present, is a dumb, broken mechanic that drives people away from the game so that no-talent parasites can play for free.

If high-sec is supposed to be lawful space, habitual, criminal behavior shouldn't be tolerated, and should eventually get you excluded. It does, sort of, except that you can skirt around through creative ship boarding. It's a hole that ought to be plugged.

Low-sec is the part of space where pirates should be able to live and victimize the unwary as a career, not high-sec. I say that as someone who was pirating long before you were playing. Bullshit? Butthurt? More like a juvenile who doesn't know how to have a civil discussion, I'd say.

Considering CCP's data says the exact opposite, and they've said as much, this argument holds no water.

Fortunately, CCP seems to disagree with you. I'd put more weight behind the people who run the game than some butthurt miner/hauler crying over losing a few pixels.
