Mac Launcher broken?

Since today I am unable to launch the game. The launcher "freezes". It starts, but soon after that it doesn‘t do anything anymore. In the task manager the task is shown as "EVE Online (doesn‘t respond)" (reagiert nicht).

I have found the launcher log file, and whenever I try to start the launcher, the log freezes at a different place.

I already manually downloaded the most recent Mac launcher, as described here:

The only thing that I changed since yesterday, when the launcher still worked, is: I'm trying to connect via WLAN. But I don‘t have any other connection issues with browsing or anything else.

Any ideas?

Fyi: I renamed EVE Online.app in Applications, and downloaded a new installer .dmg. Reinstalled EVE Online.app, now it works. But I guess that‘s not the best solution.
