Hub Zero - Invitation To 0.0 - A Blue Community In Stain

Greetings,

Welcome back to another episode of your favorite Eve Online venture, It is a real pleasure to type to you and If you decide to dwell in Stain with us I wish you an epic heart-stopping experience.

The goal of Hub Zero is for a blue community to create an economy in a constellation of Stain and tackle any problems that arise which will secure our position in the chosen area. This venture has been known to test the boundaries of teamwork among Eve pilots who are not in the same corp/alliance.

The requirement for joining us is simple, you must be dedicated to kick-starting a community and be prepared to contribute to the many tasks that taking on such a venture will involve.

The venture will start soon and I am happy to start talking with people in preparation for this. This latest attempt will be a good one as we have some great guys involved. I can't go too much into detail right now and I will post more in-depth information ASAP.

One of our further goals is also to make eve interesting again and stop the sandbox shrinkage, I'd like to see lots of people down here creating content for others to enjoy, this is my game and I will fight to the end to keep it alive.

About six years ago now, actually.

I was still lurking then and this was one of those things that ultimately made me suscribe to Eve Online.
Awesome threadnought and totally worth the read, has everything that MAKES Eve Online so unique: An enterprising if somewhat naive idea, initial ridicule from the usual naysayers, some, even great, success, eventual betrayal, forum rage and accusations back and forth and eventual collapse all playing out on the forums over 71 pages.
Hell, even the Devs (no such thing as "ISD" back then in the good old times) seemed to enjoy this little episode, considering they allowed it to go on for over half a year....
