how do you not fix the stupid unresponsive play button?

Seriously. This happens to everyone and with the last update it isn't fixed. It took 5 minutes to launch a client.

As is mentioned in numerous places on this forum the quickest way to login is select another language and then select your default language again. The act of causing a refresh is all that is needed. It is quick, painless and quite unnecessary but if you want to login.

I'm having issues logging in too, but it's not due to the play button. It tells me it can't connect to Tranquility due to: "Incompatible (build)". I was just on about 11 hours ago, so I'm assuming it's something to do with the update.

I fixed the incompatible build issue. It seems the launcher had to be reset.

this is a work around and not a fix. This is stupid. Its like having to open and close the trunk/boot of my car to get it to start.

Exactly.
I don't really care if the progress bar is yellow or blue, as long as it indicates the current state the launcher is in.
