Bring back the Caracal Kenitic damage bonus or...

Hi there peoples,

Bring back the Caracal kinetic damage bonus or trade it with a missile damage bonus. The hole reason why it had the kinetic damage bonus to start with was the flight time missiles take to hit there target then the other weps that hit instantly .

Leave the Caldari Advanced, Standard and faction Cruisers alone. " If it aint broken dont fix it "

Well this is the first time I have seen the complaint from this side. What?

You really want to be locked into using one type of damage?

Ahhhh, it Would be so nice if DEVs would buff kinetic resists both armor and shield for all faction ships except Caldari Cool

Of cause not, but to take it away and have it replaced with nothing, even the other races have 5% turret damage.

Instead of a velocity bonus replace it with 5% missile damage.

The Kinetic Damage bonus (which is not a lock) was replaced with a Rate of Fire bonus wasn't it?

It might be more spiky but it's a 33% increase in damage.
The range bonus has always been there - it's what allowed Caracals to pound away at 100km+ before the Heavy Missile nerfs; losing it would make little sense. There is also the consideration that RoF and Kinetic damage would make the Caracal the only attack cruiser with a double damage bonus (I think).

The Rupture gets bonuses to RoF and Damage

The Vexor gets bonus to hybrid and drone damage if you want to count that.


EDIT or do you mean true Double damage bonus? Like 5% bonus to kinetic damage and 5% bonus to Damage?

@Valkin.

I think there is a distinction between "Attack Cruiser" and ...whatever category the Vexor and Rupture are in. The Attack cruisers are the Thorax, Omen, Caracal and the Stabber, they're the faster but slightly less robust of the T1 combat cruisers.

RoF is a damage bonus bro. A better one than the kind the kinetic lock and really does something for rlml's.
