The Lobster Farm is an NPC Null Sec mining & industry corp based in Outer Ring. The current major focus of the corp is doing the level 4 mining missions for ORE. As we grow and its less profitable to focus solely on the missions for income, we will begin a focus on the high end ores and manufacturing for profit.

Why Outer Ring?

• Outer Ring is fairly isolated, which means lower amounts of roaming gangs to potentially end the life of your ship

• Outer Ring has very few station systems, which deters most groups from living directly in the region

• There is high potential when it comes to mining & industry, but less so for PvP, which again helps with safety

Why Mining MIssions?

• Once you hit level 4's you never have to leave the mining system, meaning no worries about gate jumps, and always having boosts

• Current Isk/LP on items is 4500, which is much higher than most other options

• There is no worries on reprocessing and hauling and such. The ORE items are small and easy to move

• Missions are in deadspace, meaning you have to be probed to be attacked whilst mining

What skills do I need?

• Mining Barges

• T2 shield tanks

• T2 small, medium, mining drones

• T2 Arkonor, Crokite, Dark Ochre, Gneiss crystals

• Miasmos or DST

• Standings to use Level 2 ORE agents - Can get derived standings from empire factions to ORE and use Connections to raise it past 1

• T2 ice harvesters

• T2 gas cloud harvesters

• You will also want Mining Connections to 5 as its the real money maker skill (not required but really needed)

The skill requirements are a bit on the higher end mainly to make sure people are far enough in the game to have some basic understanding of how things work. Understanding movement through 0.0 is also needed to survive.

There is a 7.5% tax on missions and profits from LP items to fuel the boost tower, SRP, jump fuel, and other corp services
