Simply, when a warp disruption field generator is used in conjunction with a focused warp disruption script does it act as a long range disruptor with 100 strength or given it's strength does it share the effects of a warp scambler? I.E. Disables MWD and MJD.

It acts only as a disruptor not a scrambler.

:( darn. Oh well. Just working on tactics to counter MJD using cowards in lowsec. Land a scram frig on them and they smartbomb/dbl web/neut them so only option is to land a hard tackle cruiser right on their face (which is a pain when they are constantly at BM's) or Rook them and keep them jammed while a frig holds point and pray they don't have SB's.

Lachesis 22.5km Scram range with True Sansha Warp scrambler, 18 km range with cheap person tech 2 scrambler.

Vote for Lachesis as well with Faction Scram. Big advantage is the DS-Immunity, so opponent only recognise it, when it lands on grid, which is too late to initiate MJD.
Depending on the ship and if he is alone or in a small gang you have to fight put 3x Sensor damps on it, so he can't target and therefore neut/fight you or put some tank, so you can survive until backup lands.

Guess this would be my preferred approach.

PS: As your opponent is in a BS or BC for sure you can fit a simple Lachesis for the job to get him tackled, which leaves you even with 3 damps with a tank of 50k EHP. Should be enough to get the job done you want to do.

Did you just complain about e-dishonor and then use the phrase "rook them"? ....damn. Maaaaaaaximum dishonor right there.

Ed: You could use a jag as heavy tackle, I suppose.

That'll tank drones and smarties for a decent while, has a cap booster to handle neuts until the rest of you get there. Tbh that's a rip off of a dual MASB I use so the lows might be changeable as I just hot swapped a cap booster in for the MASB. You'll get 3800m/s out the MWD overheated. Could maybe screw around with one enough to squeeze a NOS on there as well.
